For GPs and Referrers

Sielu Psychology is a psychology practice based in Brunswick, Melbourne, run by clinical psychologist Dr Kelsie Bufton. The practice provides therapy for adults and young people aged 16+ experiencing a range of mental health and life challenges. Referrals are welcomed from GPs and other health professionals.

  • I am currently accepting new referrals for in-person and telehealth appointments.

    I am currently able to offer appointments within a reasonable timeframe and will advise if wait times change.

  • I work with adults and young people (16years +) presenting with mental health concerns such as:

    • Perinatal mental health difficulties, with both birthing and non-birthing parents. Including pre/post natal anxiety, depression, psychosis, OCD, birth trauma, and perinatal grief and loss.

    • Anxiety, stress, panic

    • Trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma.

    • Grief and loss

    • Low mood, depression, suicidal ideation

    • Psychosis

    • Obsessive Compulsive Disorders

    • Stress, burnout, and overwhelm

    • Adjustment to life transitions

    • Relationship and interpersonal difficulties

    • Emotion regulation difficulties

    I have experience working in both private and public mental health settings, and currently work part-time at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as a Perinatal Psychologist. If you’re unsure whether a referral would be suitable, you’re welcome to get in touch.

    • Medicare rebates are available with a Mental Health Care Plan

    • Private referrals and self-referrals are also accepted
